Course Description: The course will provide an understanding of how nanotechnology, nanoengineering and nanobioscience interface with other disciplines to enhance technology development and disease analysis to address challenges in prevention, diagnostics and treatment of the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) and COVID-19 disease. Topics will include biology, pathology and tracking of COVID-19, importance of social distancing based on transport phenomena, vaccine biomanufacturing, biosensing, nanotechnology in diagnostics, tissue engineering-based drug screening, nanoparticle-based targeted drug delivery, nanotechnology-enabled therapeutics and theranostics.

Day/Time Synchronous office hours will be available to students via Zoom or Collaborate on request. No synchronous engagement is required or expected of students in this class.
